Susan Mielke

The formation of Susan Mielke, M. Div., D. Min., LCPC(IL) as a pastoral psychotherapist includes earning a BA in Theology from Quincy University, a Master of Divinity from Aquinas Institute, a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling and Psychotherapy and a four year clinical residency in Pastoral Psychotherapy at Care and Counseling a Samaritan Institution.

Her primary ministry for many years has been in the private practice of pastoral psychotherapy with adults. She also has extensive post graduate training in feminist theory, theology and praxis. She continues to have a special interest in reflective pastoral conversation as a sacramental activity.

She’s a wife, mother and grandmother and enjoys knitting, spinning, writing and gardening.
